Welcome to Venture Golden Retrievers!
Our journey with Golden Retrievers began in a personal way when my parents gifted me a Golden Retriever puppy for my college graduation. From the start, I was captivated by the breed’s intelligence and loyalty. I began training this young dog in basic obedience, and soon progressed to higher levels of obedience and agility, always seeking new and exciting challenges. With dedication, I trained her to a UD title and earned multiple agility titles. This fueled my desire to explore the world of Conformation, leading me to bring a second Golden Retriever into our lives.
Thus began a lifelong journey to breed high-quality, conformationally sound Golden Retrievers that excel not only as loving family companions but also as competitors in various dog sports. Since 2000, we have remained dedicated to breeding the finest Golden Retrievers with an emphasis on temperament, structure, and overall quality.
At Venture Golden Retrievers, our mission is simple: to provide loving families with healthy, well-adjusted, and beautiful dogs that will be loyal companions for years to come. We understand the importance of a strong foundation for health and well-being, which is why our dogs are screened for the tests recommended by the Golden Retriever Club of America. This includes screenings for hip, elbow, heart, and eye disorders, as well as common genetic conditions. However, health is just the beginning. We believe that a great dog starts with a great upbringing. Our puppies are raised as part of our family, receiving love, attention, and constant socialization from day one.
Every Golden Retriever has a unique personality, and by raising our puppies in a nurturing environment, we ensure that they are confident, well-mannered, and ready to embark on a lifetime of adventures with their new families.
